August 26 Fine Arts Period First Advanced Band rehearsal

August 31 before school/recess 6th-8thth grade sectionals begin
Advanced Band members will be assigned a sectional time during the first week of school.

September 1 7:30-8:15am First 5th Grade Band Rehearsal

September 14 during school day 5th grade lessons begin

November 17 7:00pm Combined Rehearsal with Bethany
(St. John gym)

November 18 7:00pm Fall Band Concert with Bethany
(St. John gym)


December 16 7:00pm Advent Service (led by students)
Advanced Band plays during this service.

February 13 all day IGSMA Solo/Ensemble Contest
Intermediate/Advanced Band members are encouraged to participate.

March 9 7:00pm March Band Concert (St. John gym)

May 1 all day Lutheran Honor Band Festival
Selected Advanced Band members participate in this festival in Bloomington, IL.


May 12 7:00pm Spring Band Concert (St. John gym)

May 17 during school day Last 5th grade band lessons
May 18 7:30-8:15am Last Intermediate Band Rehearsal
