This book, in the reference section, gives the history of Wheaton and these pages in particular, expound upon the history of Adams Park showing the original residence of John Quincy Adams and his sister, Catherine who was the first Librarian in Wheaton.

Established in 1921 by Mr. Brown in an alley in Wheaton. It has had four owners. The present owner, Mr. Bill Wakefield and his family have owned it and other small businesses in Wheaton for 35 years. It is one of the oldest small businesses in the city of Wheaton.
