The PTL falls under the auspice of the Department of Christian Day School Education and shall adhere to its constitution and by-laws.

Objectives:

• To support any worthy endeavor of the school in furthering Lutheran Christian education.
• To establish a closer relationship between home and school by acquainting parents and friends with the work of the school and securing their active support and interest.
• To propose ways and means of aiding the school in the development of definite projects.
• To promote positive public relations for the school.
• To lend every possible assistance to the teachers in the performance of their duties.
• To sponsor various school fellowship, educational, and fundraising events.

This very popular fundraiser is a "win-win" program for St. John School and our families. Gift cards for various grocery stores, restaurants and retailers are available at the SCRIP table each morning in the school lobby. A wide variety of gift cards are available for immediate purchase. The order form allows you to request cards not immediately at the SCRIP table. Just complete the form and turn it into the table with the appropriate payment. Your cards will be available on Monday a week later. 50% of the profit, noted on the form, goes to St. John School and the other 50% goes towards a tuition credit to either a student of your choice or to the general tuition assistance fund. This is an easy way to purchase gifts, groceries, gas and "dinner out" AND earn tuition credit. Please encourage your family and friends to participate because they can designate their % to go toward your child's tuition!
