Designed for children age 3 by September 1 of the current school year. Enrollment is limited to 14 students per session. Classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:45 am - 11:15 am or Monday, Wednesday , Fridays from 8:45 am - 11:15 am. Doors open at 8:30 am.

Designed for children age 4 by September 1 of the current school year. Enrollment is limited to 16 students per session. Classes meet on Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings from 8:45 am - 11:45 am or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons from 12:30 pm. - 3:30 pm. Doors open at 12:15 pm.

All classes are staffed with a teacher and an assistant.

St. John has an open enrollment process. Applications are available at the school office or on the Admissions and Registrations tab on the side of this web page. Enrollment shall be open to any child provided the school can meet the needs of the child, without discrimination with regard to sex, race, color, nationality, or political belief.

The mission of St. John Lutheran Preschool is to build a caring community of young learners, in a safe nurturing environment of age appropriate play, organized activities and progressive learning experiences which help the young child to grow socially, emotionally, spiritually, academically and physically doing all to the glory of God.

St. John is fully accredited by the National Lutheran Schools Association. St. John is fully recognized by the State of Illinois and the Northern Illinois District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

Classes begin the last week in August and end the week after Memorial Day.

Three Day Program (Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings) $1,400.00
Four Day Program (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday afternoons) $1,700.00

An application fee of $50 is required per family enrolling a student(s) for the first time. The fee should be included with the completed application form. Please return the application and fee payment to the office in person or via the mail.
